Spider-Suit

I know that this is totally pointless, but bare with me. If Peter Parker made his spidersuit himself, why doesn't it rip more easily? He can be dragged through the streets and there won't be a tear on his suit. It has to be a final climactic battle in order for his suit to get ripped or torn.

I'm not saying this is a bad thing. I just wish that they had at least explained this. Superman's clothes don't rip, but that's because they're made of the material he was found in. For some reason these fibers also have super-powers under Earth's yellow sun.

But Spiderman's suit isn't made of some special material, just some cotton. I'm just saying they could have explained it a little better, or made it seem like he's always getting new suits or something. Sorry for ranting.
